The world-famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron, formed in 1946, is the nation’s oldest formal aerobatic team. The Blue Angels jets are flown by world-class demonstration pilots.
The “Blues” still employ many of the same practices and techniques used in the inaugural 1946 season — and have performed for more than half a billion spectators since their first flight.
The Blue Angels’ mission is “to showcase the pride and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach.”
